Of all the models for describing organizational culture, we think the most robust is the Competing Values Framework (CVF), described by Kim Cameron and Robert Quinn in their book Diagnosing and Changing Organizational Culture: Based on the Competing Values Framework. Cameron and Quinn also developed the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), describing the characteristics of the four cultures of the CVF.

Our Culture Engine is built on the CVF model. We have also developed a methodology to match an individual’s work environment preferences and work style with company culture. We call it Culture Link™ and it brings together the CVF, via Culture Engine, and the OCAI, via an online self-assessment.
